Student NIW/EB1A Application Guide
Plan ahead and lock in your green card application before graduation
PhD and master's students can apply for NIW. The key is planning ahead: accumulate enough publications, citations, and review records to file before or at graduation. Many successful cases started preparing while still in school.
Student status does not affect NIW eligibility. You have ample time to build evidence during your studies, and advisor resources can help obtain recommendation letters and review opportunities. Planning ahead is your biggest advantage.
